About the True Revo.

The True Revolutionist is a newspaper that gets sent out by Email. It first originated in the ghettos of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but it has since crossed oceans (ok, maybe just one) Anyhow, The True Revolutionist is put together by: Liz Morris, Abby Wheeler and Cheryl Hatalla. Jordan Himes is the web designer (not really. Cheryl does most of the website work). The purpose of our newspaper is to try to inform people of different views and opinions, as well as give them information on things that affect them. We try very hard to be a good newspaper, and we hope you understand. To clear up any confusion, here's how it all started.....

One day way back in December 2002, an issue of The East Side News was released(which was our school paper) after reading through it, and realizing, that not only did the teachers in charge of it leave out authors of articles, and change words, but they also became upset with Liz and Cheryl for becoming upset with them for not being good editors. Cheryl then got the idea, why not start our own newspaper? Abby quickly agreed, and Liz soon followed the idea. The title of our paper is from a day in November 2002 when Cheryl wore a home made anti-nsync shirt to school saying "support the revolution" and had nsync in a circle with an x through it. Abby soon got the idea to start her own revolution- the recycling revolution. When starting the paper Liz suggested "The True Revolutionist" as the title, all three of the girls agreed. This way they could support the revolution of recycling and saving our Earth by sending out issues by email, not on paper, which in turn saves trees. So far, Abby's Recycling revolution has gotten the attention of many students and has become a success, and Cheryl has failed trying to turn students against mindless pop stars.
