first of all, i would like to direct your attention to the poll and message board at the bottom of the page. cast your vote or die, and feel free to post a new message of any topic. this is making jordan himes look like the ASSISTANT web designer for the moment because he didnt do that. (it was cheryl's idea!)anyhow, be sure to come back regularly to vote because there will be a new poll every other day. tomarrow the poll will be "WHAT DO YOU THINK REALLY HAPPENS AT THE STAFF MEETINGS" (i dont want to know)now to the next subject...

GUEST WRITERS

WHY DOES THE TRUE REVOLUTIONISTS WANT GUEST WRITERS?

we have 3 main reasons for wanting guest writers. first, we are trying to get people to stand up for what they think and what they believe in and give different points of view. different points of view open others' minds and gives them a broader horizon so to speak. the second reason is because we are trying to get people to write because it is GOOD for you. studies show that getting it all down on paper is actually good for your health. the third reason is because as newspaper writers, we have to allow other people to say what they think. we know that not everyone is going to agree with what we write, thats a simple fact. so we want YOU to start writing and give something to the world.

WHAT?

what do guestwriters write? they can write anything. they can write poems, short stories, articles, anything just as long as its not boring (and it cant be pornographic JORDAN- that means NO peanut stories to corrupt our little minds!)

WHEN?

since we are still just an ameteur newspaper, we slack alot and it does take awhile for us to get our stuff togather. however we are TRYING to get our next issue out by june 10- the end of school.

HOW?

get off your lazy bum and pick up a pen! the true revolutionists isnt just something that four teenagers do because they have nothing better to do!(....actually it kinda is) we are trying to get EVERYONE involved. yeah, INVOLVED might be a scary word to some of you. just remember if you are going to write, email us at the email link at the top and we will get you more details as soon as possible!
